A Brazilian psychiatric clinic as been asked (demanded) by Diego Maradona to make a mini golf course for him in their grounds. Then he will carry on being treated for cocaine addiction there.
The Master Mind Clinic, Jundai, Sao Paulo, Brazil, said through a spokesman "To build a mini-golf course, which was a demand of his, we will need 20 to 30 days."
Doctors from the clinic will meet Maradona's doctor in Argentina to decide whether he is ready to move and embark on the second phase of his recovery from drug addiction. In April Maradona had heart trouble.
He is currently in a psychiatric clinic in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His family forced him to go there (he did not want to go).
Diego Maradona, 43, has been battling with drug addiction for quite a few years. He spent a large part of the last few years in Cuba, at a spa which specialises in drug rehabilitation.
Last April we travelled to Argentina, had breathing problems and a swollen heart and was rushed to hospital. He stayed in hospital for two weeks. He then discharged himself, went to play golf, had breathing problems again and was back in hospital.

I saw Maradona play in the Mexico World Cup, 1986, against England. I remember sitting at the stadium and thinking this guy was the best football player the world had ever seen. He could dribble around players as if they were statues. He helped his team, Argetnina, eventually win that World Cup.
